Description

Ready to kick off your study of The Lord of the Flies by William Golding? Grab your students' attention with this FREE engaging and thought-provoking survival scenario activity based on the S.S. Guppy survival game.

In this activity, students will faced with an ethical dilemma of choosing who will be rescued and who will die on a sinking ship. Students will work in groups to discuss and engage in critical thinking to come to a cooperative decision and justify their choices in a graphic organizer. After, groups will briefly present to the class and students will individually answer reflection questions. Get ready for some great discussion!
