Lord of the Flies Bell Ringers/Do Nows: This resource includes 30 common core aligned William Golding bell ringers that are an ideal way to begin your class when reading Lord of the Flies.
Each bell ringer includes a William Golding quote (some are from Lord of the Flies, and some are from interviews and other books) and a CCSS aligned quick writing prompt. Students will be asked to write a quick argument, informational, or narrative piece based on the quote.
There is also an instruction slide included so that the students will know what is expected of them when they walk into the classroom.
