The resource can be taught in a single class period, or can be used over several days. The more discussion you incorporate, the longer the lesson will last.
The lesson is designed to familiarize your novice-mid students (level 1-2...depending on their proficiency) with the tradition of the 3 Reyes who bring gifts to children on the night of January 5.
Students will create their own "wish list" for the Reyes, learn about the tradition of putting their shoes out for gifts as well as the Roscon de Reyes.
Finally, students will use a fun, authentic short video as a listening and reading activity.
