Los errores comunes- A Spelling List for Heritage Speakers

This is an 8-day unit for heritage speakers class. This product was created after analyzing the frequent spelling mistakes my Spanish-speaking heritage students were making on their writing assignments. This list includes many words that use an accent to indicate a change in meaning (for example, él and el or si and sí).

• List of common errors (spelling list for students to write in definitions and study, 59 words total)
• Daily Lesson plans for the teacher
• Quizlet of the spelling list
• 2 worksheets
• 3 games/class activities
• 1 digital assignment
• El examen (Students will get out a blank piece of paper. They will listen and write as you say the words out loud with the sentence example for each one. There are thirty words on the test)

8 days (based on 57 minute class periods)
