Students read an article about the use of cell phones and complete a reading guide.
The corresponding activities on the reading guide include:
-Answering pre-reading questions that will help give students an idea about what the article is going to discuss
-Identifying different words for the same object (i.e. los teléfonos celulares vs. los móviles)
-Defining new vocabulary from the context of the article
-Answering comprehension questions
-Answering opinion questions
-Writing affirmative and negative informal commands to give to a friend about cell phone usage
*PLEASE NOTE: The article to which these activities correspond is not part of this download. In order to access the article, you will need to visit the following web address:
Once you are there, you will need to create a (free) account, if you do not already have one for that site. After you create an account, you will be allowed 5 free downloads. In my opinion, it is well-worth the couple of minutes it will take for you to set up an account!
*PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: I did not write the article and I do not at all profess to have done so, only the corresponding activities.
