Presentation: This abundantly illustrated in-class PowerPoint presents:
Slides are animated so that the questions appear first, allowing students to try to answer before revealing text.
Click cursor over the questions to reveal the answers.
Keywords are in bold type.
The last slide asks more questions about others' work and activities.
Inspire more conversation and role-playing in break-out groups.
Have students write one clue to what job they do on a Post-It and stick it to their foreheads. (Their clues can go beyond what the PowerPoint shows as long as you've covered the material in class.) Create two lines (like speed-dating) and give each student 30 seconds with each of their classmates to figure out: ¿Quién es? ¿Dónde trabaja? ¿A qué se dedica? The students who guesses the most occupations right wins.
