Have you ever lost a pet and hung up a sign with a description and a picture of your pet?? Have your students use the “How to Describe” Visual Aid to describe their “lost” pets!!
-Review the “How to Describe” visual with your students
-Hand each student a pet and fold the paper on the dotted line to keep their pet hidden from the other students so there’s
-Each student will fill out the “Lost Pet Description” graphic organizer about their pet (Describing their pet).
-The students will then read their Lost Pet Describer (clues) out loud or hang them around the room (have students go around the room to each LOST PET SIGN) and the group members or therapist will guess which pet they “lost”.
There is also a Venn diagram visual and practice sheet provided for students to use after activity.
There is an Inference Visual aid and cloze sentence strip for students when making inferences about other students pets/
Game board also included for students to take turns using “Describing” visual aid to describe pets.
