This slideshow guides students through an analysis of Anna Akhmatova's poem, "Lot's Wife." It is designed to introduce advanced analysis by making connections and insights as they explore the stanza by stanza, followed by detailed examples of annotations and poem analysis. This also comes with a teacher guide on the slideshow and a student handout version of the poem. This lesson is designed to take 15-30 minutes, but expansion ideas are included along with lesson objectives. Each file is available in both PDF and Microsoft Office form and is fully editable.
