Looking for a way to combine science, history, reading, and writing activities? Do your students like biographies? This third grade Level N reader is an informative text that discusses some of the great discoveries by Louis Pasteur, a famous scientist.
The three-page story is accompanied by five pages of worksheets which reinforce literacy skills involving reading, language, spelling, and writing. Specific concepts, skills, and vocabulary targeted in the story are listed on the first page of the reader.
This is one of the third grade readers in my original series of leveled books which I have written to incorporate the Fountas and Pinnell leveled vocabulary, Rebecca Sitton spelling words, and common core curriculum standards for grades K-6 in the United States. This book is contained in Set 2 of the Level N series along with 6 other readers in that set. The Set 1 book for Level N has an additional 6 readers on a variety of topics. Level N - Set 3 with 6 other readers will be posted soon.
Watch for more single books as well as sets of books for third grade and up! Many of my leveled readers for K- 2nd grade are posted already on TpT and I will be adding other single books to those levels also.
