This is a short activity which has students read two short excerpts from primary sources focusing on the concept of absolutism. The second document asks students to analyze the difference in how Louis felt by the end of his life.
Additionally, students are asked to explain how the Palace of Versailles connects to the "Sun King" nickname.
Finally, there is a quick activity for students to create a snapchat or instagram post on something Louis may have posted if given the opportunity. There is no rubric for this as it can be adjusted for teacher needs.
