The AP Government & Politics Free Response Question, or FRQ, gets a lot of mixed messages from students and teachers alike.
It's not an essay (there is no thesis) so a big part of what I have to do with my students is have them relearn how to write these responses.
This resources is a big part of how my students achieve this. Every unit has two practice FRQs and one graded FRQ. We spend a lot of time going through the different kinds of FRQ prompts and appropriate responses to these prompts. This document is in heavy rotation throughout that entire experience.
Full of precise directions, examples, and hints, it will help your kids get that five.
