A glyph is a representation of data in picture form. In these worksheets, students are asked to color different parts of the picture depending on what they are hearing from the music.
These glyphs are designed with specific pieces in mind, while also including two general glyphs. The glyphs work well for Valentine's Day or anytime you are focusing on a piece with a "love" theme. There are a variety of levels included, each with 3-4 things to listen for, including fast/slow, loud/soft, staccato/legato, various instruments, etc. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, the music is not included.
The following are included:
"All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera
"All of Me" by John Legend
"All You Need is Love" by The Beatles
"At Last" by Etta James
"Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis
"Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" from The Lion King
"Canon in D" by Pachelbel
"Love Story" by Taylor Swift
***BONUS: Two general love-themed listening glyphs for music of your choice!
