The film, Loving, is a great film to use when discussing the Supreme Court, the Constitution, and/or civil rights. This could also be a great addition to Black History Month. Loving v. Virginia (1967) made the prohibition of marriage based on race unconstitutional. Their love and their fight against an unjust system lifted the ban on interracial marriage.
