As a teacher, it can get expensive trying to find motivators for your students. This is my first year teaching fifth grade and I have trying to think of simple coupons that could be earned in my classroom (unfortunately not all of my kiddos are internally motivated to do things). In my classroom, we do a monetary system where they earn money for doing their job and other things. I plan on using these simple coupons for purchase by students as they earn money. The incentives are low cost to free. If you plan on using all of the coupons, plan on laminating these so they can be reused. The bottom sections on the coupons "Initialed" and "Valid For" are sections I was planning on initialing to validate it for use, as well as a section for students' names (unless you have students who never misplace things!)
Also plan on buying these supplies:
*Scented pencils (Wal-Mart has a pack of 6 for $1.97 called "Yum Pop".
*Cheap mp3 players: I bought both of mine at Big Lots for $12.88.
I hope you enjoy! I plan on using these right as I get back from Christmas break in a week.
