Your students will become familiar with forming lowercase letters while they have some hands-on fun! These reproducible outlines can be used for a variety of literacy center and group learning activities:
ALPHABET PLAY DOUGH MATS: Laminate these or place inside a clear plastic Ziploc bag. Students can roll and place their dough within the letter outline.
TACTILE LETTERS: Students glue pasta, buttons or other objects within the outline of their letter.
CRAYON RESISTS: Color inside the letter outline with a light colored crayon and then paint over top with a diluted paint and water mixture.
PATTERNS: Make this into a math activity. Use finger paint, bingo dabbers or coloring utensils to make the letter outline into a pattern. Place counters or colored glass stones, etc. over top of the letters using different types of patterns. Estimate how many objects will fit on the letter.
