LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR PRACTICE

Do your students need some extra practice in finding the lowest common denominators?

You receive 2 different worksheets where your students will reinforce their understanding. Here is what you'll receive:

Worksheet 1 - LCD MISFITS! A different activity. Your students are given a number like 36 and a set of its factors, BUT ONE of the factors does not belong. They must identify what number is not a factor of that denominator. This will surely make them "think"!

Worksheet 2 - your students are given sets of fractions and must write the lowest common denominator for that set of fractions; good basic practice;

You could even turn these into transparencies and use them as a lesson discussing answers as you go along.

Please see the thumbnails for a clearer idea. Decorated for fun. By David Filipek.
