Product Description
Product Spotlight: Luau to Learn

This product includes activities, games, and three book studies with activities and a nonfiction topic study on volcanoes. It also includes crafts, writing paper, math connections, and other ideas for using a Luau theme during your year. I use this product at the end of the year with my students. The scavenger hunts are great for Center work, and the book studies and crafts give us full group and fun work to do together. In addition, reading groups or even the whole class can use the Magic Tree House study to work on independent reading skills and higher order tasks.

It is my desire to create flexible products that you can use in a variety of ways with your students. In addition, I hope that you can easily differentiate for your grade level, time available, and expectations. Please take a look at the overview below and the product preview to see exactly what you will get!

NOTE: I have found that "Luau/Hawaii themed books" are hard to come by in the public library, and have developed this unit around some books that I personally purchased!

The product includes:
Scavenger Hunts: A Dictionary and Website scavenger Hunt
Games: 4 instructional cards for luau games
Themed Paper: 3 versions, with large and medium sized lines
