Scoot is a game that can be played in two ways: either the cards or the students scoot.
Student Scoot: place the cards around the room and students wander until they’ve
found and answered all of the problems.
Card Scoot: students sit at their desks and pass the cards around in a clockwise circle.
This game can also be placed in a math center with the cards in a pile or basket. Students then come and complete the problems individually or in small groups.
This set includes 27 one-step equations that include integers. There is practice with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. My students need lots of practice with integers so this was a good chance for them to review the skills. A recording sheet and answer key is provided.
