*This fun activity is great for review and practice of the following math skills: addition, comparing numbers, multiplication, and graphing.
*To begin, each pair of students is given a bag of Lucky Charms cereal to sort by marshmallow shape.
*Students begin by estimating how many marshmallow shapes are in their bag. After sorting each shape into marshmallow shape groups, students calculate how many of each shape they have.
*Students then solve equations for addition, multiplication and comparing numbers using greater than and less than using their Lucky Charm marshmallows.
*Students wrap up the activity by creating a bar graph of the marshmallow shapes in their bags.
*After completing the activity, students get to enjoy a sweet treat!
