Students will collect all of the Lucky Charms in this activity that assesses their ability to make predictions based on theoretical and experimental probabilities.
Students will love getting out of their seats to interpret bar graphs, pie charts, tables, and stories! They will use the theoretical and experimental probabilities they calculate to make predictions about different sized samples groups.
Each correct answer is correlated to a Lucky Charm on the posters (essentially multiple choice). Students will show their work on their notes sheet, and also circle the charm that matches the correct answer for that poster. No charm will be repeated, so students will quickly know if they are incorrect if they "collect" a charm that they have already circled!
This can be great around St. Patrick's Day time, to be festive!
