Activities include:
Equal Parts/Unequal parts...As part of a discussion, students will color in one part of the shapes divided into fractions and label the fractions accordingly. Students will color in the entire shape of those that do NOT represent equal parts. Each will be cut apart and glued to the inside flaps of a 12x18 folded sheet of construction paper. {See directions.}

Parts of a Set...Students will use 3 different colored crayons to fill in a set of 6 birds, then use math terms to describe each part of the set.

Certain or Impossible....Students will work with a partner to explore certain and impossible events that might result from the spinner provided.
