I have created 10+ different math games that align to the Common Core Math Standards (SECOND grade). Each game is labeled with the standard(s) met as well and has a worksheet to record their work. This pack could also be used as assessments, that are fun!
The centers/games require very little prep other than printing (laminating if needed) and cutting out.
*Feeling Lucky Spin-spinning and mentally adding or subtracting 10 or 100 from a triple digit number (to 1000)
*Leapin' Leprechauns-Subtracting across zeros (triple digits; ex. 600-365)
*Leprechaun Sorting: Adding/Subtracting triple digit numbers (with/without regrouping) and sorting them by their sums
*Skipping Shamrocks-skip counting by 2, 5, 10 and 100 with numbers to 1000
*Feelin' Lucky Spin & Add-spin and add double digits; second version for spin and add triple digits
*Pot of Gold Spin & Subtract-spin and subtract double digits; second version for spin and subtract triple digits (regrouping/decomposing may be necessary)
*Tricky Leprechaun Checks-triple digit subtraction (with/without regrouping) that requires students to check their answers by using addition
*Pots of Fact Families-double digit number fact families
*Lucky Pots-sorting true/false equations
*Comparing Colorful Rainbows-comparing (<,>,=) triple digit numbers
All games have a St. Patrick's Day or Leprechaun theme. These fit perfectly into any math classroom situation! I used to use this when I did whole group math instruction. This year I am doing the "guided math" model and this packet is used during my "review" station!
