PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a cute little writing activity I do during the month of March. Since March is Reading Month, I read the book "Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?" by Dr. Seuss. We discuss how fortunate we truly are. Then I use Laura Candler's "Lucky as a Leprechaun" organizer to have the students write 10 things they feel lucky to have, You can get that for free here: http://www.lauracandler.com/filecabinet/seasonal/LuckyasLeprechaun.pdf

Finally, the students use this "Lucky as a Leprechaun" paper to do a quickwrite about some of the reasons they're so lucky, based off of what they wrote on their pot of gold. I display the two together, but you could make a class book, display just the writing, etc.

Enjoy!
