This is designed to help you plan lessons aligned to the Lucy Calkins curriculum so you no longer have to pour over the books for hours, or look elsewhere for separately written units. I designed this product with habits I developed when I had nearly no resources, and after several Professional Developments on her curriculum which helped me gain a better sense of how to use her work. Basically, I bundled all of my time savers into this guide to help you plan FASTER and SMARTER, so you can leave your Lucy materials at school instead of keeping them in your teacher bag.
I know Lucy can be wordy, so I tried to keep my tips as brief as I felt I could. You'll find your planning easy and down to a system as I guide you through points common to her curriculum across grade levels to focus on, and where to go from there. I typed out short guides for you to use alongside lesson planning worksheets, with the goal being that you develop this system naturally and will no longer need the worksheets at all once you have it down. I firmly believe that while we want what's best for our students (and Lucy has a lot to offer) so is your time. With me by your side, you'll find planning Lucy a systematic breeze instead of a confusing, long process.
