Pg. 5 Roll and Spell! - roll the dice to see how many times to write your spelling word
Pg. 6 Hats Off to Baseball! - color the hats depending on how the spelling word is spelled, answer the questions about your spelling word
Pg. 7 Illustrations of completed projects.
Pg. 8 Throw Me Some Antonyms! - read the words on the baseball gloves, write antonyms on the baseballs and glue them into the correct gloves
Pg. 9-10 Sequence of Events – copy pages A and B back to back, fold the corners in to form flaps and a baseball field, open the flaps and using your own words – put this weeks reading selection in sequential order
Pg. 11-12 Batter Up! – cut out the bats on page A and match the pronoun with the correct verb by gluing the bat pieces together on page B.

Pg. 17-22 You Can’t Give Up! – creative writing and craft activity – I Never Game Up When … write about a time you never gave up at something, copy pattern of bat onto construction paper, copy off picture of baseball and back cover, staple ball together, punch holes in bat and ball, attach yarn and hang
Pg. 23-30 Go to Bat! – a game to practice your High-Frequency Words – can be glued into a folder and laminated, cut out cards, put face down in center on the pitcher’s mound, read a word on the ball card to move to a base, bat cards can make you lose a turn or move ahead one space, collect a star card every time you make it home. Whoever has the most runs at the end of the game wins!
