This is a very simple but appealing piece in 3/4 time which uses only the notes GABC and quarter, half and dotted half notes. The "rocking" movement of the accompaniment makes it appropriate for a lullaby. I wrote this for my third grade recorder beginners but it could be used for any C instrument. I have another Christmas Lullaby up in my store which is more difficult and uses low D and E (so not for your very beginners).

It works well for a Christmas program or for any program if you just call it "Lullaby".

My original title was "Lullaby for the Infant Jesus," which you may use if you like.
