January 22nd 2023 is the year of the rabbit!

Students will create their own 25 page booklet while learning the animals and their character traits used in Lunar New Year. Perfect for ENL, Special Ed. and/or mainstream classes!

Resource includes:

page 1 cover page

pages 2 terms of use

3-15 student booklet to cut and fasten together. Students will read the word, trace and color in the word, color in the pic, read a short description and/or be read to by the teacher depending upon ability level

Vocabulary words highlighted in this resource are: dog, pig, rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster and zodiac.

The booklet may be collated by punching holes with the hole puncher and tying all of the pages together with ribbon or yarn. I usually use red and gold/yellow for Lunar New Year. Paper fasteners and/or staples work well too!
