A Lunch Bunch is based on small group instruction and provides students with autism or other social deficits the opportunity to practice social skills in a small group setting under direct supervision. This is a short training for introducing your peer models to the expectations of the Lunch Bunch. Included are why they were selected, what it means to be a peer model, why some kids need peer models and what the Lunch Bunch expectations are. Additionally there are some do’s and don’ts for your peer models, along with some things they may see (teaching tools and different behaviors). Finally there is a printable reminder for the peer models, a sample Lunch Bunch participant goal page and a parent permission letter. Remember, these are modifiable forms as this is in PowerPoint. This is meant as a guideline introduction, you could have additional information you may want to add.
