Need an easy and space saving lunch count procedure? Yes? Then this is the product for you! I use lunch tickets in my classroom for students to tell me what their daily lunch choice is. Simply type your students' names on the editable blank lunch tickets, laminate, cut them out, then put sticky magnets on the backs. I line the tickets up in number order vertically on the back of my magnetic easel (right by my classroom door). My students can choose from 4 hot lunches (A,B,C,D) each day. I put the circle headers horizontally next to student names at the top of my easel. Then there is a header for "lunch from home" as well. When students enter the classroom, they stop at the easel first thing to make their lunch choice. Once all students have entered the classroom, I can easily see who is absent for the day (the tickets that have not been moved).
I also created a big header for the top of the lunch count board "Lunch Check-in." There is also a blank one in case you want to call it something else! Along with the ABCD choice circles, I included blank ones for you to type right on.
I hope this pack makes your lunch counts go more smoothly!
