PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A working model of the lung that is fun to build and accurately demonstrates how the movement of the diaphragm causes the lungs to inflate. The steps to build the model are listed in an easy-to-follow procedure. The model uses balloons and plastic soda bottles, but also requires the availability of plastic line splitters and rubber stoppers. Ordering information for both is given for those that need them.

In addition, there is a 10 multiple-choice question worksheet on the respiratory system provided with the answer key. This could be used as an in-class assignment, a homework assignment, or a formal assessment.
