This activity set includes a two-page study guide for the lymphatic system unit in a Human Anatomy and Physiology Course. The study guide covers the functions, morphology, physiology, aging process, diseases/conditions, and classification of the system. The study guide is a mixture of twenty short answer and fill in the blank sections. Word banks are provided on the student guide for all of the sections with one-word answers.
This activity set also includes a two-page Latin root word worksheet created to help students break down the meaning of medical terminology found in the lymphatic system chapter in their Human Anatomy & Physiology textbook. This worksheet features a two-column listing of 22 Latin/Greek root words on the first page. Then students break down the meaning of 12 scientific compound words. Students first are directed to slash each compound word into its roots. Then students are directed to write the meaning of each root in between slashes on the line next to the slashed compound term. Finally, students are directed to write the fluent meaning/definition of the term on the subsequent line. Refer to the provided example below.
