A song about a childhood marked by divorce. Great for the Family unit of French AP. Find the song on YouTube or Amazon.com MP3s. The students find that he sings clearly and at a reasonable pace, so they are able to understand what he is saying. After they fill in the lyrics, they are able to discuss the meaning of the song: it's about a man remembering his "double childhood," and the lessons he learned from his parents' divorce.
You will get 1 page with full lyrics, 1 page with words blanked out to fill in. Change these as needed to reflect your students' vocabulary. Currently at AP level.
