Product Description
How many times has one of your K-6 students asked, "HOW DID I DO TODAY IN MUSIC CLASS?" This rubric is extremely helpful in making students understand that their performance rating in class is WITHIN their control and part of their job as students is to assess their own progress on a daily basis.. It has four categories (singing, playing instruments, dancing to music, and talking about music) which can be used to fit a wide variety of lessons across the music curriculum. The rubric also uses graphics that appeal to students in elementary school and can be easily understood by non-readers in the classroom. This rubric is a MUST for those teachers who want to work on students being accountable for themselves.
