MAGNETS! Activity Packet. Here is a useful activity packet that includes color and b/w vocabulary word wall, foldable activity, reading passage with questions, mini activity book, homework/extension activity sheets, and word search activities to use with an interactive science journal when teaching about magnets.
The mini activity book contains three sections for students to complete. The reading passage is set up like a mini-book that glues into the student's science journal. The "Attract or Repel?" worksheet is a half sheet that can be glued into their science journals. Using the illustrations, students will identify if the magnets will attract or repel. The homework/extension activity is an activity that requires students to utilize the internet to find examples of objects that are magnetic. This activity can be done as a station if computers are available.
This packet includes the following:
* Foldable Activity with sample picture
* Vocabulary Word Wall: attract, repel, magnetic, non-magnetic, magnetic field, electromagnet, compass, poles, horseshoe magnet, bar magnet (color and b/w)
