Shanghai, on China’s central coast, is the country's biggest city and a global financial hub

Tokyo, Japan’s busy capital, mixes the ultramodern and the traditional, from neon-lit skyscrapers to historic temples. 

Moscow, on the Moskva River in western Russia, is the nation’s cosmopolitan capital. In its historic core is the Kremlin, a complex that’s home to the president and tsarist treasures in the Armoury

London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times.

New York City comprises 5 boroughs sitting where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. At its core is Manhattan, a densely populated borough that’s among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers.

Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture

Sydney, capital of New South Wales and one of Australia's largest cities, is best known for its harbourfront Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design.

Mexico City is the densely populated, high-altitude capital of Mexico

Rome is the capital city and a special comune of Italy. Rome also serves as the capital of the Lazio region

Los Angeles is a sprawling Southern California city and the center of the nation’s film and television industry.

Cairo, Egypt’s sprawling capital, is set on the Nile River. At its heart is Tahrir Square and the vast Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities including royal mummies and gilded King Tutankhamun artifacts.

Vancouver, a bustling west coast seaport in British Columbia, is among Canada’s densest, most ethnically diverse cities

New Delhi is an urban district of Delhi which serves as the capital of India and seat of all three branches of the Government of India
