Having a challenge getting students to understand MAP and Common Core vocabulary? This game WILL help your students succeed! Words from the NWEA MAP site were cross-referenced with the Common Core. These words were placed in the specific RIT bands/Grade Levels associated with MAP. This is RIT 201-210
Differentiation happens because words are grouped together in sets of 8 words. Students can look for the most challenging words in their RIT and play the game using those words.
If you purchased the MAP Quizzes, Teacher-Student Tracker, Student Self-Assessment sheet (Not Included with this product) you can have students assess their learning with each word while they play this game.
Divide class into 2-5 teams.
Click on one of the state license plates and a question will appear.
Get responses from the class and then click on the “Click for answer” sign.
The answer will drive through for the class to see.
Click on the colored rectangles at the top to get the cars to move forward one point value at a time.
Each game board has a new set of questions. You can work in the question groups that best meet the needs of your students.
This is a great game for classroom review on MAP Vocabulary Words!
This is an ADVANCED POWERPOINT and works for computers that have PowerPoint Version 2010 or 2012.
Due to the large file size I could not get the videos and animations to work on the preview. They will all work on the purchased versions.
