This game is a fun way for your students to practice finding equivalent fractions and mixed numbers. There are 21 dominoes in the set. There are six different dominoes that have equivalent fractions, so just like regular dominoes there are many ways the dominoes may be played.
In order to correctly match the mixed numbers, students must know how to compose and decompose mixed numbers as well as identify equivalent fractions.
See the preview for instructions to play the game.
The fraction or mixed number in lowest terms is provided on a separate set of dominoes so that you may quickly check that students are matching dominoes correctly.
