I use this as a visual for both the student and myself. Our school district requires us to post learning targets for our students, but as a SPED teacher, I often have students working at multiple stages making a learning target too general and/or not specific enough to each of my student’s needs. This learning target is used for personal growth and tracking and can be completed by the student.
I typically laminate this form and attach it to a file folder, where I house addition facts/worksheets/flashcards 0-9. As addition facts are learned, the student either checks or places a sticker on the I CAN statement. The goal is to get a bull’s-eye, learning all addition facts.
Thank you for taking a peak! Let me know if you have any questions.
