If only M.C. Escher could have lived in the age of Photoshop and Illustrator, I believe his amazing mind would have been blown. It took every Adobe rotating and reflecting trick I knew of to recreate his famous tessellation, and narrow it down to the just the repeating pattern. Wow, not one or two, but THREE animal shapes that all fit together without leaving any empty space. And to think he went into graphic design because he failed his high school exams. I guess testing has been misreading artists for longer than I thought.
