This Jeopardy game is created in power point. It is a great review for Equivalent fractions and comparing fractions.
The following target areas are addressed:
- Equivalent Fraction Models
- Simplest Form
- Missing parts of a fraction (Equivalent)
- Comparing Fractions (word Problems, comparing, ordering)
- Improper Fractions and Mixed Numerals
While I realize that the Common Core standards do not specifically require students to learn simplest form, improper fractions, and mixed numerals; it is actually a good background skill to hone, as it is still expected by upper grades teachers. I started putting it into my curriculum in mini lessons after having discussions with 5th grade teachers during vertical team meetings.
