I use one Powerpoint each weekday (with revision on Fridays) to ensure I cover all Australian Curriculum content for first grade in my warm ups throughout the week, to ensure students retain all concepts and transfer them into their long term memory. My students use their whiteboards to follow along and complete some of the 'apply' activities, but this could also be done verbally or on paper / in books. The apply stage has differentiated groups for students to choose from depending on their confidence with each area - red for 'This is a bit tricky!', green for 'I've got this!' and purple for 'I'm ready for a challenge!'.
There is absolutely no prep required and this lasts for an entire year, you can literally just open it and go, using it however suits you! You could flash through one PDF per warm up at a quick pace to get students warmed up and ready for math, or you could pick and choose slides to use each week depending on your classes needs, as there is between 150-250 slides in each warm up. They are also bright, fun and really easy to follow. I have used these in my classroom for the past two years now with great success. Feedback welcome!
