PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Are your students struggling with how to include illustrations such as graphs or pictures into their MLA-formatted essays? Walk them through the correct way with this handout. This document will thoroughly outline four easy steps to paste, caption (cite), describe, and discuss the chosen illustration. Each step has detailed directions, and at the end, all steps are put together to provide an example of what a correctly formatted illustration will look like.

Please note that I use this during a cause/effect scientific research essay unit, so the example is based on how to include an image into an informational essay. I have, however, successfully used this document during a historical research essay unit, so the example doesn't detract from the message.
