Need a more hands on way to get your students involved with MLA formatting? Look no further than the MLA Mapping Board/ Game.
You can take this document and laminate it for everyday classroom use with wet erase and dry erase markers. Each slot for information is color coded and has the correct punctuation formatted right in.
You can use it as a handout where students can write in their information in as they are learning and keep a neat organizer for their notes!
I use this game in my Music courses to teach the correct formatting of Song information (which is extremely similar to the format for recording book information). Students use my board as a game. They take cut outs of information and have to put that information in order in 10 seconds. They can get quite competitive!
