Prezi is a great alternative to using Powerpoint or other standard presentation lectures in your class. It is a cloud-based software that creates interesting, fluid, and animated presentations that will keep your students' attention. I have had great success with using these presentations in class.

This particular Prezi is a resource for teaching MLA research writing. Although it is still a bit old fashioned and maybe even archaic, I feel like having the students write note cards is still the best way to teach proper research skills. This presentation covers both the format that I use for Note Cards as well as the process for finding specific, relevant research.
