Weekly Internet Scavenger Hunts: January, February, March
My weekly internet scavenger hunts are a quick way to teach or reinforce the use of MLA style and citing of textual evidence.
A sample MLA citation lesson printable is included. Students start with this to refresh/learn what an MLA citation looks like.
In the January, February, March edition
, there are 12 hunts (4 per month)
This resource could be used in a variety of ways.
*Students could do 1 search question a day (bellringer)
*Students could do all 5 questions on a printable at one sitting (mini lesson)
*If students understand how to do the assignment, these could be placed in a sub tub to be used as emergency plans.
Topics covered include:
• Super Bowl
• Martin Luther King, Jr.
• Valentine’s Day
