Using Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech, this resource can be used to help students identify various types of rhetorical devices in the text by using stations for small group instruction. I have included suggestions on introducing the text and ways to use the stations in the secondary classroom. I used this product with 9th graders and was very impressed with how well the students collaborated and the attention I was able to provide to each group in a small group setting. This product includes a graphic organizer, an extension activity, table tents for each station, and an annotation guide.
