Product Description
Keep math fun, exciting and engaging. This game targets a skill that is often very difficut for students in first, and second grades. It helps with the development of the student’s ability to count money ( coins) including penny, nickel, dime and quarter combinations. This game allows math practice to be motivating as well as productive. The preparation time is extremely minimal for the teacher and the game format is simple for even the youngest students.
Also included are large sized pictures of each coin for instructional purposes. These large sized pictures are of realistic coins including the front and back of the penny, nickel, dime and quarter.

DIRECTIONS
(2 to 30 players)

PREPARE THE GAME: To play game, you need to print out the deck of MONEY CALLING CARDS and at least one LOTTO GAME BOARD for each player. Print Lotto Boards and Calling Cards on cardstock and laminate for duribility. Cut apart Calling Cards. Each player will also need approximately 10 pennies or chips to mark their board.

TO PLAY:
-Distribute a LOTTO GAME BOARD (which displays 9
different coin combinations) to each student.
-Distrbute 10 pennies /chips to each player.
-Someone picks Money Calling cards from the deck (it can be the teacher, or the players can take turns picking a card), and if any player has that amount in one of the squares on their board, they cover it with a penny or chip.

- Choose one of the game options below. The winner is the first person to cover all their money squares in one of the following predetermined patterns that you choose to use:

BLACKOUT LOTTO--All squares must be covered to
get LOTTO. This is the most common way to play LOTTO!
OR
LINES LOTTO-Must get 3 in a row either horizontally,
diagonally OR vertically to make a line to get a LOTTO.
The winner calls out "LOTTO!"
