MORE COLOR CUT AND PASTE RIDDLES:
WHAT AM I?
It follows the same pattern as our other Cut-and-Paste riddles, and consists of 40 more simple What am I? riddles to solve.
Skills: Reading, writing and fine motor skills for coloring, cutting and pasting,
This fun thinking package consists of 40 simple “What am I?” riddles.
Each page consists of four riddles at the top and four clipart drawings at the bottom.
Each riddle has four easy ‘clue’ sentences describing the answer.
Each piece of clipart is accompanied by the words which name the drawing. This is done to help the children to recognize the sight words associated with the exercise..
There are two tasks to be done:
1. to complete the sentence I am a ______________;
2. to color, cut and paste the appropriate answer pictures in the spaces at the right of the riddles. More able children could cut along the picture outlines. Less able could cut out the dotted rectangle containing the clipart.
As before, while there may be some answers which littlies may not know how to spell although they know the answer after reading the sentence clues and recognizing the picture which fits, the answer word is also written under each picture so that they can copy it correctly to finish the sentence.
