Product Description
This assessment starts with background information research about the cell theory. The standard states 'conduct an investigation', so students will conduct an investigation about cells and what makes something living or nonliving.

Then students will use their background information and the investigation to respond to analysis questions. The analysis questions are broken into the Understanding by Design aspects of understanding (empathy, interpretation, apply, explain, perspective, and self-knowledge). The analysis questions include a rubric.
