This lab is EASY PREP, it's hands-on, students are engaged, PREZI included and it covers many physics concepts. Students make a hypothesis as to whether a larger blown up balloon will have a higher momentum/velocity as one that is blown up at half the size and the students must explain why they made that prediction. Students should have some scaffolding for potential energy, kinetic energy, momentum, friction, velocity and Newton's Three Laws. I include TEACHER NOTES and a KEY for easy grading an prep.

THIS LAB INCLUDES:

Speed, sliding friction, Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, momentum, action Force, reaction force, gravity and air resistance. However, you can edit it to add more concepts for extensions or remove some for Special Ed, EL or lower grades. I've done this lab with 8th and 7th grade mainstream, EL and Special Ed for 16 years.
